Soccer Game Preview: St. Johns Country Day vs. Harvest Community

The St. Johns Country Day Spartans will square off against the Harvest Community Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: St. Johns Country Day has struggled recently with six losses in a row, while Harvest Community will arrive with eight straight wins.

Last Tuesday, St. Johns Country Day came up short against Menendez and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, on ThursdayUniversity Christian kept up with Harvest Community until halftime, but afterwards: not so much. Harvest Community never let University Christian onto the board and left with a 3-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won five games by three goals or more so far this season.

Harvest Community pushed their record up to 8-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those five matchups. As for St. Johns Country Day, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-10.
