Advanced Math & Science Academy won the last time they faced Doherty Memorial and things went their way on Friday too. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 14-2 margin over the Highlanders. Considering the Eagles have won 15 contests by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Ava McLeod spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on two hits and racked up seven Ks.

On the hitting side, Guilamina Yost and Sophia Hammel did most of the damage at the plate: Yost went 2-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI, while Hammel went 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave Hammel a new career-high. Madelyn Glynn was another key player, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.
