Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Indio walked away with it. They narrowly escaped with a  victory as the  team sidled past the Northview Vikings  4-2. The  win was familiar territory for the Rajahs, who have now won four  contests in a row.
 Kaila Wilson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered  just two earned runs on six hits.
 At the plate, Indio saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Carmen Gordillo, who  went 1-for-4 with two  RBI and one  double.
Indio's victory was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 18-11. The  road  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Northview, they moved to 20-9-1 with that  defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.
 Looking ahead, Indio will take on El Toro at 3:15  p.m.  on Wednesday. Northview does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
