Basketball Recap: Bryce Valley Mustangs vs. Panguitch Bobcats
Bryce Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Panguitch Bobcats, falling 69-47. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 56-44 back in January.

Bryce Valley's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Luke Andrus, who posted 12 points and five assists. Andrus is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. Rustyn Chynoweth was another key player, putting up nine points.
Daxton Miller was his usual excellent self, going 7 of 10 on his way to 20 points and eight boards for Panguitch. Another player making a difference was Remme Chappell, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 14 rebounds.
Bryce Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Panguitch, their win was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-3.
Bryce Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, an 86-38 victory against Whitehorse on the 8th. Panguitch does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
