Beaver Dam and Mountain View Christian are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2021, but likely not for long. Mountain View Christian let Maite Ascencio and Grettel Sanchez run wild. Ascencio scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in two of her five plate appearances, while Sanchez scored three runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. Those two stolen bases gave Sanchez a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kate Ramsey, who scored a run and stole three bases while going 1-for-3.

Beaver Dam's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Mountain View Christian, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Friday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Beaver Dam has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .472. However, it's not like Mountain View Christian struggles in that department as they've averaged .444. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
