Softball Recap: Hanover Park Hornets vs. Pequannock Golden Panthers
Hanover Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 7-1 to the Pequannock Golden Panthers. Hanover Park was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Pequannock apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April.
Gina Lagravenis was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with a home run.
Hanover Park's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-8. As for Pequannock, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-17 record this season.
Hanover Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pequannock, they will head out on the road to challenge West Essex at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
