Great Bend can bid farewell to their five-match losing streak thanks to their match on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Dodge City Demons with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-20, 25-14.

Alex Mayers paced Great Bend's offense, picking up 12 kills. Mayers got some help from Kya Behr and her 36 assists. Behr was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Great Bend now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Dodge City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-14.

Great Bend has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Salina Central on the 4th. As for Dodge City, they will challenge Cheney on Thursday.
