Tatum had won three straight at home, but on Friday they bumped their record up to 18-6 to make it four. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the White Oak Roughnecks 6-5. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Roughnecks recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Logan Cansler tossed a big game, striking out seven batters over 5.1 innings while giving up four earned runs off four hits.

At the plate, Cooper Whiteus was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Jaxen Prince, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

As for White Oak, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 16-8-1. That's two games in a row now that they have lost by just one run.

On White Oak's side, Logan Langewisch was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed six innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off seven hits. That's the fewest earned runs Langewisch has allowed since back in March.

On the hitting side, Jordy Robertson was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Braden Callens, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI.

Tatum has already played their next match, a 23-0 win against Sabine on the 22nd. White Oak does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
