Baseball Recap: Front Range Christian Falcons vs. SkyView Academy Hawks
Front Range Christian had lost three straight at home, but on Thursday they dropped their record down to 10-10 to make it four. They fell just short of the SkyView Academy Hawks by a score of 7-6. Haedan Morton put in work no matter where he played. He struck out 11 batters over 6.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and five unearned) runs off five hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.
Morton wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Landon Deza, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Jake Dreiling was another, going 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.
