Softball Game Preview: Beebe Badgers vs. Benton Panthers + Official Tickets

Beebe hasn't had much luck against Benton recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Badgers will face off against the Panthers at 4:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Benton will be up against a hot Beebe squad: the team just extended their winning streak to four. The Badgers never let Jacksonville get on the board and left with a 15-0 win on Tuesday.

Jill Pelton was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Aryssa Fernandez was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Beebe hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least three batters in six consecutive games.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Benton). They put the hurt on Parkview with a sharp 18-1 victory on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now won nine in a row.

Beebe's record now sits at 14-7. As for Benton, their record is now 16-2.

Beebe couldn't quite finish off Benton when the teams last played back in April of 2025 and fell 2-0. Can the Badgers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
