Softball Recap: Parlier Comes Up Short

If Parlier was riding high fresh off their 21-11 takedown of Mendota last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Parlier lost 15-1 to the Chowchilla Tribe on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Tribe: they've now lost four in a row.

Parlier now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Chowchilla, they pushed their record up to 5-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Parlier will host Fresno Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chowchilla, they will square off against Liberty at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Liberty's pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so Chowchilla's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
