Chester proved they can win big last Monday (they won by 21) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Chapel Field Christian Lions 3-2. Those three runs were actually the fewest the Hambletonians have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Chester is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Chapel Field Christian, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Chester will venture away from home to face off against Eldred at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Chapel Field Christian, they will head out to take on Beacon at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 21.5 runs per game on average), something the Lions will no doubt try to take advantage of.
