Volleyball Recap: Washington Union Comes Up Short

Washington Union was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Immanuel Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on October 1st.

While Washington Union ultimately came up short, they really made Immanuel work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-16, 25-18.

Washington Union's loss dropped their record down to 8-24-1. As for Immanuel, they now have a winning record of 17-16.

Looking ahead, Washington Union will take on Central Valley Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Cavaliers will roll in looking for their 17th straight win, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Immanuel, they will be playing at home against Reedley at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
