Volleyball Recap: Newcastle Victorious

Newcastle lost to Torrington back in November of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Dogies had just enough and edged out the Trailblazers 2-1. The game was the first time the Dogies have beaten the Trailblazers on their court since September 23, 2022.

Newcastle's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Torrington, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Coincidentally, Newcastle and Torrington will both be playing Burns the next time they take the court. The Trailblazers will host the Broncs at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Dogies will play them later in the day, at 5:00 p.m.
