Baseball Recap: Columbian Tornadoes vs. Ashland Arrows
Columbian had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 10-7 to the Ashland Arrows on Saturday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.
Isaiah Tilse and Johnny Bremyer did some serious damage despite the final result: Tilse scored a run and stole two bases while going 3-for-4, while Bremyer went 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
Ashland pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.
Coming up, Columbian will challenge Findlay at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ashland, they will square off against Mansfield Senior at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give Ashland their first taste of in-conference action this season.
