Alaysia Hammock, Sparta's leader in stolen bases on the season, led the team again on Friday. Hammock was dynamite, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played.

Looking ahead, Hammock and Sparta will take on Catholic Central at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Sadly, Hammock's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Spartans' six-game streak of wins on the road. With the streak broken, Hammock and the Spartans surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Tuesday's match.
