Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bishop Blanchet). They put the hurt on West Seattle with a sharp 26-16 win on Saturday. The victory continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with West Seattle: they've now won nine in a row.

Bishop Blanchet pushed their record up to 11-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.0 runs over those games. As for West Seattle, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.
