Basketball Recap: Horizon Comes Up Short

Horizon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 50-22 loss at the hands of the Del Valle Conquistadores. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Scorpions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 44-15 back in December of 2024.

They got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of Sofia Garcia and Priscilla Rodriguez, who each put up six points.

Horizon's record now sits at 8-17. As for Del Valle, they moved to 9-19 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Horizon will challenge El Dorado at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Del Valle, they will take on Parkland at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
