Grimsley entered their tilt with West Forsyth on Friday with 17 consecutive wins dating back to last season, and they'll enter their next game with 18. They enjoyed a cozy 31-17 victory over the Titans.

Leading Grimsley to victory were Brody Lowe and Ty Shoemake. Lowe threw for 344 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 11.9 yards per attempt, while Shoemake rushed for 102 yards and one touchdown on only seven carries. Those 102 rushing yards gave Shoemake a new career-high. Kaden Catoe did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 85 receiving yards.

When it comes to explaining why West Forsyth lost, don't look at Haines Robitzer. Despite the final result, he threw for 184 yards on 15 of 26 attempts, and also punched in one score on the ground.
