Volleyball Recap: Belton-Honea Path Takes a Loss

Belton-Honea Path was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Pendleton Bulldogs. The Bears were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Belton-Honea Path started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-19, 25-22, 25-18.

Belton-Honea Path's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Pendleton, their victory bumped their record up to 4-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Belton-Honea Path will square off against Palmetto at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Pendleton, they will take on Crescent at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
