After losing to Dodge County the last time they met, Washington County decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Washington County Golden Hawks blew past the Dodge County Indians 66-42 on Saturday. The Golden Hawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Washington County's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jade Kitchens led the charge by putting up 15 points in addition to eight assists and six steals. Kitchens continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Aeria Hagans, who posted 17 points and seven rebounds.

The victory (which was Washington County's fourth in a row) raised their record to 18-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points over those games. As for Dodge County, their loss dropped their record down to 13-11.

As of now, neither Washington County nor Dodge County have any future games scheduled.
