League recap: Donelson Christian Academy extends winning streak with victory over Southern Baptist

Donelson Christian Academy extended the longest winning streak in Division II A - East/Middle 2 this week by beating Southern Baptist, 28-26. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.

Franklin Road Academy's Dalton Ponchillia needs only 70 receiving yards against St. George's to crack 1,000 for the season. So far this year, he has garnered 50 catches for 930 yards.

Dennis Goodwin's team made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 6,385 from 7,017. The advance stemmed from a 28-26 victory over Southern Baptist last week.
