Softball Recap: Nordhoff Comes Up Short

After flying high against Carpinteria on Tuesday, Nordhoff came back down to earth. The Rangers lost 21-2 to the Channel Islands Raiders on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-3 on April 14th.

Nordhoff saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lily Quinn, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Nordhoff's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Channel Islands, their win bumped their record up to 6-7.

Nordhoff does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Channel Islands, they will face off against Castaic at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
