Basketball Recap: River Road Takes a Loss

River Road was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were dealt a 65-20 loss at the hands of the Canadian Wildcats. While losing is never fun, River Road can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 993rd, while Canadian is ranked 63rd).

River Road's defeat dropped their record down to 7-17. As for Canadian, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 29-0.

River Road will challenge Tulia at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Canadian, they will venture away from home to take on Bushland at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
