Basketball Recap: Chuckey-Doak Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Morristown-Hamblen West, Chuckey-Doak was happy to have turned things around on Sunday. They walked away with a 60-49 victory over the South Greene Rebels. This was payback for the Black Knights, who suffered a 50-45 loss the last time these two teams met.

Chuckey-Doak's win bumped their record up to 6-8. As for South Greene, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-5.

Chuckey-Doak will take on North Greene at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for South Greene, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Grainger at 6:30 p.m. on January 9th.
