Volleyball Recap: Minster Takes a Loss

Minster lost against Coldwater back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wildcats lost 3-0 to the Cavaliers. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Minster was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Coldwater's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-18, 25-23.

Anna Kohne paced Minster's offense, picking up four kills. Kohne got some help from Jordyn Stueve and her eight assists. Stueve was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Minster's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Coldwater, their win bumped their record up to 17-5.

Minster and Coldwater should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Wildcats (ranked 190th) will meet Allen East (ranked 579th) at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Coldwater will challenge Lincolnview at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (21 vs. 246).
