Thompson waltzed into their game on Saturday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They came out on top against the Lambert Longhorns by a score of 2-0.

Maddy Henderson paced Thompson's offense, picking up seven kills. Henderson got some help from Jayla Green and her nine assists. Henderson also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Kenzly Foote, racking up two apiece.

Thompson's win bumped their record up to 14-4. As for Lambert, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-15.
