Soccer Recap: Lovington Takes a Loss

Lovington lost against Roswell back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats lost 7-1 to the Coyotes. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Lovington were already down 4-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Arleene Gallegos, who's now up to two this season.

Lovington dropped their record down to 0-8-1 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Roswell, they moved to 6-5 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lovington will face off against Santa Teresa at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Roswell, they will take on Alamogordo at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
