Baseball Recap: Fordham Prep Has No Trouble Against Monsignor Scanlan

Fordham Prep came out on top against Monsignor Scanlan on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run fifth inning. The Rams were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Crusaders. The victory continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Crusaders: they've now won four in a row.

Hudson Medeck was excellent, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Christian Quiambao also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Fordham Prep's win bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Monsignor Scanlan, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fordham Prep will head out to take on Regis at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday. As for Monsignor Scanlan, they will venture away from home to square off against St. Peter's at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday.
