University City strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They strolled past the Bonita Vista Barons with points to spare, taking the game 33-14. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Centurions also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

University City was led to victory by Deshaun Hille and Quentyn DeMara. Hille rushed for 196 yards and three TDs while picking up 8.9 yards per carry, while DeMara rushed for 147 yards on only nine carries. Those 147 rushing yards gave DeMara a new career-high.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: University City was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 343 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 187 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

University City's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Bonita Vista, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

University City wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 29-20 defeat against Mission Bay on the 12th. As for Bonita Vista, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 21-7 loss against El Capitan on the 12th.
