Volleyball Recap: Sherrard Extends Home Winning Streak to Eight + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Sherrard, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Monmouth-Roseville Titans on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Sherrard took both sets by at least 17 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-8.

Sherrard was led to victory by Jaeci Leffel and Adalynn Elsbury. Leffel had five aces and four digs, while Elsbury had six digs. That's the most aces Leffel has posted over her last ten games.

They weren't the only good server: Sherrard was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 16 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Monmouth-Roseville only served one ace.

Sherrard's win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-1-1. As for Monmouth-Roseville, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.

Looking ahead, Sherrard is taking a road trip to take on Alleman at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Monmouth-Roseville, they will take on Abingdon/Avon in a tournament on Saturday.
