Hampton County is 7-0 against Lake Marion since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Hampton County Hurricanes will head out on the road to take on the Lake Marion Gators at 7:30 p.m. Hampton County is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.

On Tuesday, Hampton County earned a 54-43 win over Edisto.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hampton County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Darius Brooks, who went 6 for 8 on his way to 14 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Davis, who made all 6 shots he took to post 14 points.

Meanwhile, Lake Marion waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Warhorses 67-46.

Lake Marion is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.6 points per game. As for Hampton County, they pushed their record up to 10-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Everything came up roses for Hampton County against Lake Marion in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as the squad secured a 97-59 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hampton County since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
