It was fun while it lasted, but Tocoi Creek's undefeated season came to an end after seven games on Thursday. They fell 8-3 to the Bishop Snyder Cardinals. The loss put an end to the Toros' undefeated start to the season.

Mikey Bergamo made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and one stolen base. Bergamo is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's stole at least one every time he's taken the field this season. Jackson Sizemore also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Tocoi Creek fell to 7-1. As for Bishop Snyder, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Looking ahead, Tocoi Creek will challenge Menendez at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bishop Snyder, they will take on Providence School at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Bishop Snyder is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.7 runs per game this season.
