Basketball Recap: Augusta Comes Up Short

Augusta lost against Wonderview back in February of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Augusta Red Devils took a blow against the Wonderview Daredevils, falling 68-30. The match marked the Red Devils' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Augusta dropped their record down to 1-8 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Wonderview, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Augusta and Clarendon will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Clarendon will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Augusta surely won't give up without a fight. Wonderview will take on Lisa Academy West in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Wonderview will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
