Basketball Game Preview: Animo Venice Pirates vs. Math & Science College Preparatory Sharks

The Animo Venice Pirates will challenge the Math & Science College Preparatory Sharks at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Animo Venice sitting on three straight victories and Math & Science College Preparatory on five.

Animo Venice is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They managed a 52-47 win over Los Angeles.

Math & Science College Preparatory's victory bumped their record up to 21-7. As for Animo Venice, their win bumped their record up to 16-12.

Animo Venice beat Math & Science College Preparatory 52-44 when the teams last played back in November of 2018. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Math & Science College Preparatory's Brandon Walcott, who posted 22 points.
