Volleyball Game Preview: Winsor Wildcats vs. Beaver Country Day Beaver

Winsor is a perfect 5-0 against Beaver Country Day since September of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Wildcats will host the Beaver at 4:00 p.m. Winsor will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Winsor will bounce into Friday's match after beating Austin Prep, who they had gone 1-6 against in their seven prior meetings. The Wildcats won by a set and slipped past the Cougars 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wildcats have posted since October 30, 2024.

Winsor took Austin Prep into a fifth set where they got it done with a six-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-14, 25-17, 21-25, 15-9.

Meanwhile, Beaver Country Day made easy work of Berwick Academy on Wednesday and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Beaver in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won four in a row.

Beaver Country Day's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Winsor, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2.

Winsor took their win against Beaver Country Day in their previous matchup back in October by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Beaver have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
