Basketball Recap: Napoleon Drops Highest Score of Season Against Bryan

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Napoleon). They put the hurt on the Bryan Golden Bears with a sharp 63-37 win on Monday. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 24 points or more this season.

Napoleon found their leader in sophomore Hannah Miller, who made all 9 shots she took to post 23 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Miller has scored all season. Chloe Cicero was another key player, putting up eight points along with seven rebounds and six assists.

Napoleon was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Napoleon now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Bryan, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Napoleon will welcome Ross at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bryan, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Patrick Henry at 7:30 p.m.
