Football Recap: Palmer Comes Up Short Despite Rhea Myers' Big Defensive Game

Palmer fell victim to Colorado Springs Christian and their airtight defense on Thursday. They took an 8-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions.

Even if they lost, Palmer's defense still kept up the pressure with four sacks. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Rhea Myers.

Palmer's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Palmer will square off against Air Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Colorado Springs Christian, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Vista Ridge at 4:00 p.m. on September 3.
