Foreman scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 29-28 to the Steinmetz College Prep Silver Streaks. The Hornets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Silver Streaks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2023.

Foreman dropped their record down to 2-6 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Steinmetz College Prep, they moved to 6-4 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Foreman and Steinmetz College Prep's offenses will be put to the test in their next games. Foreman and Roosevelt (who has only given up 27 points per game) will meet at 5:00 p.m. on January 22nd. Meanwhile, Steinmetz College Prep will face off against Chicago Sullivan at 5:00 p.m. on January 22nd, a team that's only allowed 22 points per game.
