Volleyball Recap: Northern Huskies vs. Southern Rams
Northern gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Southern Rams. For the Huskies, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 loss the Rams walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2015.
After all that action, the final score was 25-12, 19-25, 25-21, 25-15.
Maddison Hook had a dynamite game for Northern, getting 24 digs and three aces.
Northern couldn't miss and finished the game having scored on 40.9% of their attack attempts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Southern only posted a hitting percentage of 19.3%.
Southern is on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.
Northern will take on Allegany on Thursday. As for Southern, they will face off against Salisbury Elk Lick at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
