Signal Mountain waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Their defense stepped up to hand the Hixson Wildcats a 9-0 shutout. Considering Signal Mountain have won six contests by more than three goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Signal Mountain's win bumped their record up to 6-4-2. As for Hixson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6-1.

Coming up, Signal Mountain will head out to take on Boyd-Buchanan at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hixson, they will face off against Brainerd at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
