Woodland was the 41-27 winner over McDonough when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wolfpack took a 23-7 bruising from the Warhawks on Friday. Despite 202 more yards than the Warhawks, the Wolfpack couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

Woodland's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Courey Bryan, who gained 171 total yards, and Michael Green, who rushed for 87 yards and one score.

McDonough can attribute much of their success to Talin Manior, who rushed for 47 yards and one TD.

Woodland dropped their record down to 3-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for McDonough, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 3-6.
