After flying high against Pandora-Gilboa on Saturday, Perry came back down to earth. The Commodores came up short against the Lima Central Catholic Thunderbirds on Saturday, falling 11-1. The Commodores' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Perry saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hunter Scott, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Perry's loss dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Lima Central Catholic, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Perry will square off against Spencerville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bearcats will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Commodores surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lima Central Catholic, they are taking a road trip to take on Celina at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
