Football Game Preview: Sikeston vs. Charleston

On Friday Charleston take on Sikeston at 7:00 PM. Sikeston will need to watch out since Charleston have now posted big point totals in their last three contests.

Charleston took the match and then some with a 54-7 victory last Friday over Kelly.

Meanwhile, their game two weeks ago wasn't at all kind to Sikeston, but their most recent matchup may have softened the blow. Everything went their way against Central as they made off with a 21-0 win. Followers of Sikeston probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected three blowout victories.

The last time the two teams met, Charleston were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap the last time the two teams met, as they fell 26-32 to Sikeston. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown.
