Basketball Recap: Omak Comes Up Short

Omak was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 58-47 to the Kettle Falls Bulldogs.

Ella Johnson continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Kettle Falls, dropping a double-double on 18 points and 11 steals. The contest was Johnson's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Wyn Edwards, who posted 11 points in addition to eight boards and six steals.

Omak's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Kettle Falls, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-4.

Omak will head out to challenge Chelan at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kettle Falls, they will host Chewelah at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kettle Falls is facing Chewelah at the right time seeing as Chewelah is stuck on a 12-game losing streak.
