Football Game Preview: Bullock Creek Lancers vs. Gladwin Flying G's + Official Tickets

The Bullock Creek Lancers will head out on the road to square off against the Gladwin Flying G at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bullock Creek has given up an average of 33.3 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Bullock Creek took a blow against Ogemaw Heights, falling 70-28. The Lancers have struggled against the Falcons recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Gladwin entered their tilt with Shepherd on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 25-14 victory over the Bluejays.

Bullock Creek better keep an eye on Colton Pfenninger. He was instrumental in Gladwin's win, throwing for 87 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while also rushing for 48 yards. What's more, Pfenninger racked up 88.3 passer rating, the most he's had since back in October of 2024.

Gladwin didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Pfenninger and Logan Walters.

The win got Gladwin back to even at 3-3. As for Bullock Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 3-3.

Bullock Creek came up short against Gladwin in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, falling 28-18. Can the Lancers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
