Basketball Recap: Horizon Christian Academy Warriors vs. Valor Christian Lions
Horizon Christian Academy and Valor Christian squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Horizon Christian Academy had to settle for second. They fell 50-42 to the Valor Christian Lions.

Despite the defeat, Horizon Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Nyla Black dropped a double-double with 30 points and 17 rebounds. It was another big night for Alyssa Mullholand, who dropped a double-double with 22 points and ten boards for Valor Christian. The dominant performance gave Mullholand a new career-high in rebounds.
