Pueblo Central and Rye are an even 3-3 against one another since March of 2015, but likely not for long. The Wildcats are taking a road trip to take on the Thunderbolts at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Pueblo Central is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.

Pueblo Central fell victim to Pueblo Centennial and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 10-0. While losing is never fun, Pueblo Central can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 215th, while Pueblo Centennial are ranked 79th).

Meanwhile, Rye unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They and Front Range Christian finished up their match with a 3-3 draw. The result kept Rye happy, as they haven't lost a game since April 8th.

Nicoline Larson and Abrianna Chianelli scored all three of Rye's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Pueblo Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8-1. Rye's draw makes their record 4-5-2 this season.

Pueblo Central suffered a grim 5-0 defeat to Rye when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Wildcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
