Basketball Recap: Stranahan Beats St. Brendan for Their Fifth Straight Win

Stranahan extended their postseason success on Thursday against St. Brendan. They came out on top against the St. Brendan Sabres by a score of 72-61. The win was nothing new for the Mighty Dragons as they're now sitting on five straight.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Stranahan to victory, but perhaps none more so than David Nealy, who posted 24 points. Those 24 points gave Nealy a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Damari Foster, who put up 17 points.

Stranahan was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in three consecutive games.

Stranahan's record now sits at 23-7. As for St. Brendan, their loss dropped their record down to 20-9.

Stranahan will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Ribault at 3:00 p.m. on March 4th. Stranahan is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.3 points per game this season. St. Brendan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
