Football Game Preview: Moore Lions vs. Jenks Trojans + Official Tickets

Moore is 0-6 against Jenks since November of 2017 but things could change on Friday. The Lions will challenge the Trojans at 7:00 p.m.

It was a proper cat-fight when Moore duked it out with Norman on Friday. The Lions took a 25-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers.

Moore's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Maverick Gardner, who rushed for 108 yards and one score, and Ken Coulter, who gained 77 total yards and two touchdowns.

Even if they lost, Moore's defense still kept up the pressure with four sacks. That dominant display was truly a team effort as four different players picked up one apiece.

Meanwhile, Jenks waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Antlers 56-21. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by 35 points or more this season.

Moore now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Jenks, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.

Moore took a serious blow against Jenks in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 56-14. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Lions were down 28-7.
